It is normal to have a few questions for our team before your initial consultation, or to see if Chiropractic care is right for you. If you still have questions, please reach out to our team.

  • Your first visit includes a detailed consultation, examination and, where appropriate, your first treatment. We take the time to understand your health history, current concerns and goals before providing individualised care.

  • No referral is required to book an appointment. However, patients with an EPC (Medicare Care Plan) or DVA referral should bring their documentation to their visit.

  • We commonly see patients with back pain, neck pain, headaches, jaw discomfort (TMJ concerns), postural strain and sporting injuries. If your presentation requires co-management or referral, we will discuss appropriate options with you. Here are some other conditions our patients present with:

    • Asymmetry (eg. Low Shoulder)

    • Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

    • Decreased Range-of-Motion

  • X-rays are not routinely required. They are only recommended when clinically indicated, such as in the presence of red flags or if expected progress is not occurring.

  • Yes. Techniques can be adapted to suit different ages and comfort levels. Care is tailored to the individual and may be modified to ensure it is appropriate and gentle.

  • Dr Tracy uses a range of techniques including diversified, Thompson drop, SOT, activator methods, flexion distraction (COX), instrument-assisted approaches and rehabilitation exercises. Treatment is chosen based on your needs and comfort.

  • Yes. We welcome patients with DVA approvals.

    We also welcome patients with a Medicare Chronic Disease Management plan (sometimes called an EPC referral) from their GP. At Howard Chiropractic these appointments are bulk billed, meaning there is no out-of-pocket cost for eligible patients.

  • If you have extras cover for chiropractic services, you may be eligible for a rebate. TYRO on-site claiming is available for your convenience.

  • Our clinic is located at 73 Steley Street, Howard QLD 4659.

    On-street parking is available directly out the front of the clinic.

    We are also 300m (5min walk) away from the Howard Train Station.
